When Jack Warner was casting the movie My Fair Lady, Julie Andrews, who played the original Eliza Doolittle on Broadway, was overlook for the part, that was given to Audrey Hepburn.

That made her available to accept Mr. Disney’s invitation to play Mary Poppins.

At the 22nd Golden Globes, when she won the best actress award (she was up against Audrey for My Fair Lady), she had her sweet revenge.

how to shade, with class.

Julie Andrews is the queen of everything

So you know more than anything I’m a fandom shipper and I support those who choose to take part in this blackout and even those who don’t.  Personally I would love to, but since we have a podcast about Teen Wolf, we will still be watching and tweeting.
Now I will take it off my DVR and we’ll watch a livestream and we haven’t been using TW hashtags for a while anyway so that’s moot.  I will try to tweet #thepowerofthefans hashtag as much as possible though they really need to make sure everyone is on the same page so the right hashtag goes out.
All of that is to say this:  THIS IS NOT A STEREK ISSUE!
This is an issue of the culmination of the massive and ongoing disrespect Teen Wolf shows its fandom.  And once they’ve successfully extinguished Sterek, they’ll move on to the next one.  I could go on about how irresponsible this show has been in its actions just to deter a fanbase and how sloppily it tries to cover its tracks, but honestly the proof is out there and there’s not enough room on this post.
The issue is that if MTV and Teen Wolf are willing to try and humiliate Stereks, what are they going to do when others start getting on their nerves?  When did this become a show where the fandom is expected to cater to the show and not the other way around?  Why do they feel as though the “gift” of the show outweighs the gift of us watching?  When did fandom become synonymous with $$$ and not with actual human beings that support and love your dream?
It’s really disheartening which is why I get the blackout.  Some don’t, heck, even some of our panel doesn’t think it’s a big deal and that’s fine.  But please don’t discount this as a bunch of shippers with their panties in a bunch.  This is real and the way it’s handled is going to set a precedent for other shows.
Good night and good luck.

You know what? Yes. Yes. Please kill Derek off. Put us out of our misery. Put Hoechlin out of his misery, with this five minutes on screen. Do it.

Yes, please do it since WE GET IT, JEFF.
You’d much rather put Derek with another woman killer than have Sterek happen and bring in 623 new cast members as if this is fucking Glee without the terrible cover songs.
We. Get. It.
